Shanell S. Davis, President and CEO of Procurevis, Inc., has many years of procurement and acquisitions management experience within the Federal and Private Sector. Her vast acquisition background spans the spectrum from being a Senior Acquisition Consultant for the U.S. Federal Government, to supporting and managing multi-million dollar contracts within the Corporate Industry.
Before founding Procurevis, Inc., she has spent the majority of her professional career in Federal Acquisitions Management. Her focus is on helping businesses succeed in obtaining Federal Government business through strategic marketing, sound proposal preparation, and demonstrating a professional image in all aspects. She is a Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) and holds a Master of Arts in Procurement and Acquisitions Management, and Master of Business Administration; she also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Counseling.
As President of Procurevis, Inc. she has a proven track record of directly increasing revenues and profit margins for corporations based on the implementation of successful acquisition strategies. Her vision, knowledge and know how combined with sound strategies provides companies with the competitive edge to be successful in the Government arena. She enjoys working with people and personally guarantees that Procurevis consultants and personnel provide its clients and employees with dedication and adherence to high standards of service.
Motivational speaker, trainer and mentor providing tutoring and mentorship to teenage mothers and welfare-to-work participants (helps low-income women prepare for job market).
Vice-President of Client Relations
Carol Scott comes to Procurevis with an extensive background in developing business opportunities within the Federal arena. Her background includes marketing successfully to civilian and defense agencies and she has an impressive track record of representing corporations in the industries of: software, hardware and professional services. Carol also has several years of experience training and coaching staff skill development.
Carol has developed business for several large government contractors, as well as small business concerns and in her new role as Vice President, Client Relations she brings dedication, persistence and focus.
Originally from Ogden, Utah, Carol received a B.S. degree from Utah State University and a M.S. from University of the Pacific.
Her hobbies include, fitness training, reading, cooking, art collecting and gardening.
In terms of organizations I support: the Capital Area Food Bank and the Children's Inn at NIH. My favorite quote: "Difficult takes a day, impossible takes a week."--it epitomizes the challenges we often face in life--some things that seem impossible are really just "difficult" and time consuming.
